My surgery was overnight stay and then home with pain meds...as I mentioned my surgery was vaginal ..scope assisted so cutting thru a dominal muscles!! 6.8 weeks recovery ti.e after four I was ready to go ba k to work.... But my doctor said no because of my type of job...no sex for 8 weeks!!!! That was rough...LOL

I had hysterectomy at fifty...didn't notice any difference ...except I wanted to have sex more often!!! Teeheeee. For me it had been so painful..after the removed my uterus ...no more pain!! It was wonderful !! They took my ovaries at the same time..the perarion was performed vaginally...so healing process was shorter....less painful post op!!! Still was able have multiple orgasims just like before...once you get thru the menopausal symptoms you may need a little extra lubricant!!!

Get a second a opinion my even a third !

I had a hysterectomy one year after breast cancer. Had reoccurrence to spine 15 years later. Scans clear right now. Did great after hysterectomy.
