Finished chemo and radiation, doing herceptin for 12 months half way thru and I swear everything place I have injured over the years is throbbing. Not neuropathy pain or numbness but joint and muscle aches. My feet, my knee, lower back, neck and arm. Anyone have this? Is it the herceptin? Is it the overall treatment that I've been thru?

@disop I had severe muscle and joint pain with herceptin. It didn't hit me until about 6 months into it. The pain was so severe that I recall wondering if I could finish the additional six months. I also told a friend of mine that death would be more welcoming than the pain I was suffering . Yes that is how bad it was. I was on routine pain meds, lots of hot showers, baths and used aspercreme. I also developed 7 trigger fingers. I coy,d go on and on about the pain but what I want you to know is as bad as it got, to the point I could barely walk and couldn't even hold a pen, it lasted for about four months and the last two months of treatment it started to go away. I am now 10 months post herceptin and all aches and pains are now gone!

Hmmm @A MyBCTeam Member I finished radiation about the same time as you and the pain started during it. So I'm thinking combination of the radiation and herceptin.

I only had radiation and am experiencing the same issue. It seems like joints are painful that never were before. Also sometimes certain areas of my body are painful to the touch:( I finished radiation the first week in September
