Tissue expanders inserted 10/16. Fill 11/10. Supposed to go to 6 Flags on Saturday. Did anyone out there ride the "fun" rides with tissue expanders?

Ride your little heart out! Be careful though not to hit or hurt your chest! Have fun! Hugs, Kim

Tissue expanders are not very comfortable. I looked at them like braces. You go in and get those braces tightened and then for the next few days you are very uncomfortable and can't even eat. They they start to feel better about the time to get them tightened again. Expanders are the same, you just start to get comfortable and its time to get a fill. If you are too uncomfortable, slow down the process. Ask for less each fill, or go an extra week. This is no race so do whats best for you. They are designed to be fine in your body for a couple years. They aren't meant for permanence but I've heard of only a very few that failed in the expansion process.

So far, the first fill was a breeze. No discomfort at all.
