Massage of lymph fluid does help. My therapist said, if you have scar tissue, which alot of us have. That the fluid can't drain past it so it stays where it is. Specific scar massage helps break up scar tissue and then certain massage of the lymph nodes and exercise to help the fluid get sucked away to where it needs to get to be excreted from the body.
