Of course it is normal to get depressed. Realizing this can help you be kind and understanding of your feelings, and can help other exercise patience. You have been, and are going through the trauma of your life. Anything that threatens our mortality, that is completely out of our control, is frightening. I am on anastrozole and while the effects were very pronounced during the first three months (depression, hot flushes/flashes, forgetfulness, joint pain), all but the joint pain is beginning to subside a bit. It is all easier and better when I am busy and active. Getting my mind off my own situation has been key to healing.

Of course it's normal. I still have days that I cry in the shower, and my battle is over, and I can say that I am 6 months cancer free! On the flip side.....we have been through ALOT. People can't understand it unless they have experienced it. Sometimes you have a bad day. Sometimes you don't want to put on your big girl panties. Sometimes you want to be left alone with your tears. We have all experienced it, and you are not alone. Stay strong!
