I had a lumpectomy with a couple lymph nodes removed in my armpit. Is it normal for my boob to swell up ?I'm normally a size D and on the right side we're at the lumpectomy is now a DD.

It's really unfortunate, but swelling can take up to 18 months to resolve itself.... Sounds like you are healing normally. Keep on feeling better!!

I had a lumpectomy in march and finished radiation in may. I too have swelling of the treated breast along with sharp pains that feel like pinching. I've been told.this is normal. my treated breast actually shrunk 2 weeks after radiation was done but swelled up again. good luck !

The radiation treatment after my lumpectomy made by breast swell. My radiation oncologist said It may take a year to subside.
