@RoseannDT- Well, there is a protocol with the study. They start at 125 mg. If you don't tolerate that (in my case, because of really low white blood cells twice in a row), then they go to 100 mg. That is the dose I tolerate. I understand that if I couldn't tolerate that, then they would have gone to 75 mg. If I still didn't tolerate that, then I'd be out of the study. My blood was tested about every 2 weeks for the first 4 months. Now it will be tested every month for a few months. Hope this helps.

@RoseanneDT - No Neulasta shots... they just lowered the IBRANCE dose per the drug study protocol. I don't know what they do for those using the drug normally.

I am just finishing my first month and only problem I've had so far is acid reflux. Dr gave me an acid blocker and now doing fine. Again, this is just my first month...

Also in 4th month of treatment. I have not experienced any hair loss. Good luck on your journey!!

In October I started the Ibrance/Letrozole protocol. I'm on my 9th month of this treatment. I do believe is of great value to my treatment.

When I started, I was on 125 mg. But that dosage dropped my white count too low. I have been on 100 mg ever since. My oncologist says I will be on this protocol until my body either doesn't respond to it or can't tolerate it.

The only sides seem to have is fatigue and chemo brain.
