I totally agree. I had my reconstruction 4 years ago and I can't really tell that they have changed much. They still look great on the outside of a shirt but, they don't feel like mine. In fact, I have no feeling/ sensation at all. People questioning reconstruction ask and I tell them I now know why someone offered to show me. It's because they don't feel like they are mine. But, it is much better than before reconstruction!

I had fairly small silicone (250cc) implants put in in December and they are still very firm. I run everyday and can't tell if I'm wearing a bra or not because they feel so tight. They look great but feel totally un-natural to me. I still miss my own breasts.

I started jogging slowly at about 4-5 weeks. My PS said it was ok. By 8 weeks I was running again although I just now feel like I have my stamina back. I'm 5 months post exchange surgery.

@A MyBCTeam Member. How long did it take for you to run again? Mine are small too (350?) I forget, but I can only walk on the treadmill and do the elliptical...can't run :(
