I finished reconstruction almost two years ago after a bilateral mastectomy. A few nights ago I found an odd lump in the same location of my original cancer. I got an appointment the next day and my family doctor and a colleague is fairly certain there is a defect in my implant, I will need an ultrasound to confirm. Has anyone had an implant develop a bulge? Did the implant company do anything to make it right?

Thanks, I found out that mine are guaranteed for 3 years and they will pay up to 3500 of the cost to fix. Now debating if I really want to go through it all again. The scars were finally starting to fade.

My daughter's implants are guaranteed for 10 years. Her implants didn't have to do with cancer. I don't know if it makes a difference.
