The worst part of radiation is the going every day part. Don't be fooled by the lack of any skin changes in the beginning. It takes a while for them to show up. Start the lotions right away, don't wait until you think you need them. Exercise of some sort will fight the fatigue.

It's not as bad as I thought. I was told to use clear aloe 3 times a day on the effected area and thAt helped alot. After radiation I would have to take a nap. Other than that it wasn't so bad. Good luck

Start the lotions immediately. Be very generous with the lotions. Wear cotton bras and use a guaze pad right after treatment. I am luckly never had a skin problem. There can be some mild fatique. Remember that everyone reacts differently.

I didn't do chemo and I had a pretty easy tim with radiation. We're all different. I didn't work during radiation. In fact, I was in an extended stay motel courtesy of my HMO. That made it feel sort of like a vacation.

Radiation was harder on me than chemotherapy. It was annoying to go every day. I was exhausted, lost my appetite and had migraines. Despite it all I worked full time and just plugged along. I had 36 treatments.
