Forgive my ignorance but what does bmx stand for?

Its a whole world of acronyms!!! Its not ignorance...its all a "new language" You will see EX surg for exhange to implants. PS for PLastic Surgeons. RADS for radiation thereapy. And most Chemotherapy drug combinations are shortened like ACT TC etc....
