I have 3c and had 12 of 23 lymph nodes show positive for cancer, I am wanting to know how long the survival rate is, all i have seen are 5 year statistics after chemo and rad. I am 51 and dont know if I need to start getting important info together for my family, which I know should have been done long ago. I found scarves are so comfortable. If you have a fabric store, a half yard of lightweight knit is wonderful. There are lots and lots of web sites about head wraps from all kinds of cultures. It made a difficult situation a lot more fun.

Look in the phone book for the nearest local cancer center. Most of them have free wigs and scarves. Also the hospital or cancer center where you have chemo can recommend a reputable place for wigs. I talk a lot and found out about places from those in the chemo clinic. Some of the ladies wanted to even give me their wigs that they were finished with.
