I also use a homeopathic remedy called Kali Phosphoricum. It repairs nerve damage and I have had wonderful results with it.

I always recommend that if you are looking for acupuncture to find an OMD, Oriental Medical Doctor, for best results. Do not use a western person that took an acupuncture course. BIG difference. My insurance even paid for acupuncture for surgery pain and chemo nausea! I am seeing a PT now for pec issues but he is also working on my scar from the lymph node removal 25 years ago. I was so surprised he could help with that. It has made a difference. I wish I had known that then, although I am not sure it was available "back in the day". It is pretty amazing how PT has advanced and there is so much they can do for us.

I have had acupuncture weekly for the last 2.5 years. No problem. It helped me so much, first with the side effects of treatment, and then with recovery. Don't know what I would have done without it.

I've been on gabapentin for several months for treatment of hot flashes but it doesn't seem to do anything for nerve pain. I'm assuming it's nerve pain from where the nodes were taken out. My ps said that's probably my new norm. I'm not ok with that answer. I don't think anyone should have to live in pain.

I was seeing a PT, but my insurance decided that it wasn't working for me, due to the paperwork that I had to fill out regarding my symptoms, and terminated my remaining visits :(. Gotta love insurance companies. I massage it a bit but it hurts to the touch. Very frustrating.
