I was told to eat a light breakfast and bring a light lunch to eat during treatments. Any suggestions of food I can take would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, I had to eat a light breakfast, and I had to eat during my chemo treatments. I loved blueberry muffins, chicken soup anything that tasted paletable. Even though some foods tasted horrid I just kept trying things. That actually calmed my stomach. Baked potatoes any canned vegetable, cream of wheat, applesauce, angel hair spaghetti with ragu sauce (my favorite). When I started my 5th treatment of chemo I was then on taxol and my appetite then changed and my taste buds started to return. I hope that you are able to eat to keep up your strength. I pretty much lived on the foods listed above for the first four treatments.

I took peanut butter crackers, jello and sometimes pudding. I always had something cold to drink. I never took any strong smelling food that could make the other patients sick from the smell. I always had extra to share

My nurses always had goodies to hand out like packages of peanut butter crackers, cheese & crackers, and pretzels. They always hit the spot! They also had lemonade, water and coffee available. Good luck to you.
