I woke this am and had bruises on my affected (left) breast. I had a lumpectomy July 2012, radiation, and have been on Tamoxifen since. I haven’t done anything different; I don’t normally sleep on my stomach, but might have. Has anyone else experienced this?
I get bruise all the time, the littlest bump and I will have one, figure it is the tamoxifen
Its sensitive for sure. My grandson leaned on me and I bruised.
Thank you - it had my doctors stumped. But, better to be safe; I really don’t expect a recurrence, but then never expected to have cancer in the first place.
i was due for a repeat mammogram in April; so had it a bit early. It was really quite scary - It’s been a year and a half since I finished radiation; and none of my doctors had seen anything like it before. But, now I know for the future. Thank you for sharing @A MyBCTeam Member
So, as a follow up - the bruises are fading; I did have a mammogram, ultrasound and MRI which were all fine. Still don't know what caused the bruising in the first place. Weird.
