Ugh. Sorry to hear steroids is being such a bummer.

Have you talked to your doctor about options with dosing? I believe steroids given with most chemos for breast cancer are to help with side effects of the chemo (appetite, nausea, fatigue, etc).

If the side effects of the side effect drug are becoming too much to handle, discuss with your doctor and see if you can't try a different steroid or if you can reduce the dosage.

I get really weepy too from the steroids and I am not a crier! My steroid flush also lasted longer and longer with each TC I did.

Not to be a smart A, but is it the steroids or just the general feeling of fatigue.

I, personally, didn't have rage issues from the steroids, but they did make it tough to sleep the 2 nights after an infusion. Then I'd just be exhausted and that feeling of fatigue and exhaustion makes it difficult not to be moody.

The fatigue got worse as infusions went on. But after I was done with AC, I wasn't nearly as tired all the time.

Taxol didn't make me tired, it just made me grumpy from all the other side effects.
