You will feel fine until the last week - the cumulative effect will make you fatigued for that week and 2 following. (I worked full-time through it.) Just plan ahead to take it easy those weeks... just because your treatment is done doesn't mean your body has recovered.
Hi there! I have 9 treatments left out of 30. I have been working full time, along with being an online full-time graduate student. Of course there are days that I am very fatigued...but very do-able. You willbe fine!
I was told to use Dove body wash or soap because its moisturizing and non drying, they gave me Aquaphor 2-3 times a day. I never got burnt...thank goodness! After having surgery and chemo... radiation is a walk in the park. You may get a little tired toward the end of treatment but nothing too bad. You'll be fine, you got this!
I was told to use non aluminum deodorant such as Tom's of Maine. Also, if you must shave, only use an electric razor. Blade razors are too sharp. Udderly Smooth and Aquaphor were recommended for the treated area. I couldn't find Udderly Smooth at my local pharmacy (I didn't feel like ordering it online) so I used the pharmacy's version of Aquaphor.
My dr also recommended gold bond powder but i opted out for radiation.
judt had bilateral instead.
