I didn't have a reaction until I started taxol, felt achy like flu symptoms but lasted about 2-3 days. Plus my taste buds were not there, everything I ate and drank tasted funny. I have alot of percocet left over from my surgery so I would take one. My friend ended up in bed for a week after her injection. Most people get joint pain. I was told to take Tylenol injection and after. So hang in there, should last a few days but seems forever. Drink lots of fluids too.

Back 5 years ago when before I would go to take the neulasta shot, they had me take a cocktail of some type of allergy medication that you had to ask for and steroids before getting the shot and after the shot I think to cut Down on the pain and work with it... I still went through major pain anyway but you might ask .

About a week. Listen to Hud. Drink lots of fluids. Ice pops were my best friend. Use Biotene for dry mouth also. (you can find it in any drug store/walmart/ grocery store, etc.)Hot bathes and pain medicine definitely helped too.
