Hi, I am using Femara and I have the same pain. it will not help you switching medicines. All of them give you bone pain. I started with tamoxifen but had to stopped it after 6 months because I developed blood clots. then I used arimidex. i felt sick most of the time! the bone pain was awful. I stared with Femara on January. I tolerate better the bone pain.

It's been 4 months for me on the arimidex and I am doing fine. A bit of joint pain in my weak knee, but I wear my elastic brace when I'm working out and keep that joint moving. I've also started taking magnesium to keep muscle cramps away. I have a banana each morning, but not enough to stop the cramping at night while I'm sleeping. Doing well though. Saw my Onco PA today and everything is looking and feeling good. Took blood for the panel testing and I know that will come back clean.

Yeah started my femara this last Sunday. The next morning I was really dizzy and felt off balance. I know dizziness is one of the symptoms. I have noticed my left thigh feels like I need potassium. Kind if like a leg cramp when I first get up. Walking seems to help. I just still have to rest from my hysterectomy. This is my third week. For now I'm able to sleep with the femara because I was told to take at night. When I wake my eyes feel like they are still trying to wake up. I take it around 7:30. Not sure if I should take earlier. I will be going back to work soon in July so need to figure this one out.

I'm not feeling any pain, work out, run etc. But...I have an almost metallic taste in my mouth. I'm not sure if it's the Femara or a bad filling until I see my dentist next week.

I am hoping that within the next 3-6 months, the pain will be gone too. This really stinks. You go thru mastectomies, chemo and radiation, thinking that I am finally done. Then you get slammed with all kinds of side effects from the medicine you need to be on! I know, I should be great foul that I am still alive, and I AM! But this just seems like it is never ending.
Sorry for complaining. I usually have a very good attitude, but some days...
