yes, I remember that EXACT experience. It will go away when you are done. But if you take tamoxifen, hot flashes are a side effect.,, not fun but not terrible

I still get those chills, and I have been done with chemo since April '11. Hot flashes still come and go. I'm on Tamoxifin, dr put me on Megestrol (sp?) and that helped alot!

What infusion number are you on? I did have a random experience about 10 days after chemo #1 (I had AC). It was literally like my body could not control it's internal temp. I was freezing for a few hours and no matter how many blankets I piled on, I could NOT get warm (no temp though). Later, after a hot shower and about 3 layers of clothes, I suddenly had a temp of 101. By the time I got to the ER, that was gone. They did every test imaginable for an infection and it came up empty. Not sure what that was all about, but to this day, I have yet to have a fever. I've had sinus infections and been pretty darn sick, but never a fever. I think that little experience (whatever it was) was the death of my internal thermometer.

Hopefully yours is just chemo-pause (aka chemo induced menopause) and some hot flashes :) Aren't those fun?

I have been on Letrozole for two years now and some of those are side effects of the Letrozole/Femara, etc., and I still get them every now and then. I've always been the "hot" person and it is very unusual for me to get the chills but I just attribute it to the hormone therapy meds. Good luck.
