I used Aquaphor and aloe creams. Make sure they are clear! After radiation, I started using emu oil cream and that works really well. Put the aquaphor on right after your radiation treatment and after showers (but not before radiation).
I designed an alternative gown for women to wear while undergoing radiation treatments- called "Radiant Wrap". May o fthe women that are wearing them say that the Wrap is definitely softer against the skin than the standard issue cotton gown. Here's my website if you want to see them- www.theradiantwrap.com. I hope you are doing well.
Thanks, I'm going to the drugstore today and buying everything you all @A MyBCTeam Member, @A MyBCTeam Member,

@ p3jtd - Best of luck with your treatments! I was given Aquaphor Healing Ointment by my Radiation Techs and it worked wonderfully. The other ladies here used other creams that also worked for them, and I'm sure they will give you suggestions too. Find one you like and one that will keep you comfortable through your treatments. Hugs, Lisa
My doctor recommended Silvadene cream (a prescription burn cream) for skin that had turned red. He told me to use it from the beginning and it would keep the skin from burning. I wasn't able to purchase it due to insurance problems till midway through my treatment. Then I used it faithfully. It seemed to work terrific. I also prayed with pure aloe and calendula spray.
