Although I've purchased a wig, just in case, my preference is to rock the ball look. But in order to avoid pity/sympathy in public, I've been covering my bald head with hats. A friend just sent me a package of numerous beautiful long scarves and a few hats. I have no idea what to do with the scarves. I like to use 2. It looks much better I think. A beanie underneath and then a billowy scarf folded into a triangle tied on top like a bandana. It totally looks good and gives bulk that reminds me of hair.

rock those scarves..they provides protection and comfort as well as protection from the sun!..somewhat..
I had a few great long scarves that my mother had gotten me. I used to wrap them around my head, tie it in the back and then make a bun out of the extra fabric. I'll see if I can post a picture on your page (if I'm computer savvy enough to make it work!).
I liked them more than the "usual" scarves because I generally felt like a pirate when wearing those.
