Hello Ladies,

I hope everyone is doing well, and that y'all had an awesome Thanksgiving. To my YSC sisters sorry because this is a repeat question. I hate to bother you, but I'm writing because in the past week I've been experiencing joint pain, and I was wondering if anyone else under 50 had gone through this.No offense to the ladies over 50.

Yes, I had experienced this with Taxol. The pain came and went in waves. I want to say that I had to get up and walk around to help eleviate it, it seemed stronger when i sat still. The pain was more in my joints and usually about 1-2 days after the infusion.

I've had joint pain/stiffness off and on since chemo.

I discovered "Osteo bi-flex" which is a vitamin supplment that is supposed to help with your joints. I took it every day for awhile and now most of that joint pain has gone away. I haven't even taken the supplement for a few months now.

Maybe try that and if it doesn't go away, as always talk to your onc.

I have joint pain that i beleive is from the arimidex, and it is painful. I am stiff if I sit in one place too long and I look like an old woman when I get out of the car. My balance is awful and I fall frequently, but it still beats the alternative.

Thank you Irene! my joint pain comes and goes, so my doctors aren't terribly concerned. They just suggested physical therapy, which has helped quite a bit. It seems that without even thinking about it, I have taken to protecting the right side of my body, putting a lot more strain on the left! Let me know what the doctor says.
