I doubt it. My oncologist took me off my Arimidex for 2 weeks to see how I felt before changing me to Letrozole. I don't think he would have done this if it was harmful.

Your body hasnt acclamated itself to the drug just yet. I would contact my oncologist, he should be able to help you. I also would contact your online drug provider, and explain the situation.....

I'm not sure. I started Arimidex, took it for 1 month then switched to Letrozole (generic Femera). I started taking these hormone drugs around about the same time you did. My body went thru all of the menopause signs- hot flashes, night sweats, no periods, etc until I missed the dose for 2 days and then the period came back. Can you ask your ONC for some more samples just to hold you over? Just explain and they will probably help.

I stopped some meds 3 times, and after switching 3 times, I’m now on tamoxifen, not much better but tolerating it for now. I have 3 more years to go.
