It seems my stiffness is getting worse and I want to do things to improve it. Someone gave me a Pilates bar and suggested pilates as a great way to help with stretching and flexibility. Is anyone on here actively doing pilates ?

When I was diagnosed in March I was told by the doctor to stop my pilates work outs because of the stretching etc. around the breast area. Not sure if I am going back to it as have opted for a gym membership so I have a huge choice of classes as well as machines and free weights. Might want to check with your doctor first just to be on the safe side.

Studies confirmed that consistent Pilates practice enhances emotional and mental health domains, mitigates fatigue and improves overall health related quality of life. Good choice BB2.

My onco recommended yoga for joints and TRX for strengthening.
I do Pilates, which I figure is a good enough cross between the two 😆

I do yoga 2x aweek. And a few weight lifting. At times I do just stretches for my back. My back and hips are always very tight. Just go easy. It only takes a little to get the benefits.

Good morning. I do a mixed work out that has a few Pilates moves and other days I do a lift workout. It definitely helps. Full body movement helps with my stiffness and for me the movement of exercise lifts my spirits. Give it a try! 🩷
