I've had hormone positive, HER2 negative IDC twice now, but both of my cancers were totally different subtypes of IDC so my 2nd breast cancer, even though it's called a recurrence for insurance purposes according to my oncologist, is really a totally new cancer. I’ve also been diagnosed with IDC twice. My first cancer in 2016 was IDC. I’ve been wondering if blood type might play a role—back then, I noticed most people who responded to my question about their blood type had Type A+ or A-.

Hello Darlene, I am not a doctor but I do work in health along with having breast cancer myself. It can be imagined that the number of strains stem from the environment and blood types. It may not make sense, but if you think about it everyone do not process a disease in the same manner because their blood and other bodily functions knows how to get rid of the ailment.

In the back of my mind, I asked this question and after research I was to see how things work. I notice women that I speak to have different types and my oncologist helped me to understand how breast cancer changes. Have a great and blessed day.
