I decided to take a different approach for my stage 3 grade 3 with 4 lymph nodes cancerous. I decided to refuse all conventional therapy and use repurposed drugs (Ivermectin and Mebendazole) diet, life style change, supplements and faith. Hi @A MyBCTeam Member, If you have any questions just let me know. I have been on these repurposed drugs for a year now. I was hoping to get off but instead Dr Makis put me on a higher dose. Day 2 of higher dose and all if fine. No changes! Just like taking one extra vitamin lol He had me on a preventative protocol of 12mg Ivermectin 4 days on 3 days off along with 200mg mebendazole 4 days on 3 days off the past year. At my annual checkup he started me on 24mg IVM and 500mg MBZ 4 on 3 off. This is his email when I asked how long I needed to be one these repurposed drugs:

There is no research on Prevention / Maintenance, so continuing it is up to your comfort level.

Some cancer patients have done 3 months Maintenance, some 6, some, 12, and some are choosing to do it indefinitely.

The reason I use Lactoferrin with Ivermectin is to enhance the efficacy of Ivermectin in Stage 4 and difficult cases, that's why I didn't put it in the maintenance protocol 🙂

If it was my family member, they would continue a stronger Maintenance, like Ivermectin 24mg, Fenben 444mg (or Meben 500mg) and continue it indefinitely.

Most cancer patients who have gone cancer free have stayed that way but there are a few whose cancer has come back.

So now I am on a higher dose. I just had my blood work done before I started new protocol so I will see if my blood work changes in three month to see if the repurpose drugs affect anything. If so I will contact Dr Makis.

I am newly diagnosed and was wondering about holistic treatments myself. Has anyone ever seen a holistic oncologist?

Karen, please keep me posted as I made the same decision. I have not been back to an oncologist due to a major move and difficulty getting a similar Medicare Advantage program in a new state. Also had other complications that made me feel that I had exhausted traditional treatments. I wld love to hear your treatment plans as I may have to revist more treatments. Hope you are doing well !
