Good news on the numbers going down! I'm glad you are feeling better. Hopefully they can give you some answers next month.

I agree. My actual biopsy 2.5 months ago was Her2 negative but the serum test. that they did last week was Her2 high. Thankfully my numbers were down and I’m feeling better after 2 months on Fulvestrant and Verzenio but was surprised that my treatment was not changed with this new information. I will keep pushing for next month.

That's weird your doctor isn't doing something for the HER2 positive portion of your diagnosis. You may want to see another doctor for a 2nd opinion. Why aren't you getting Herceptin, chemo, Perjeta, kinase inhibitors, etc? There's plenty of treatments they could use to help counteract the aggressive qualities of HER2 positive breast cancer in addition to the anti-estrogen meds you are currently taking.

Thanks, Rose. I have Stage 4 so surgery not an issue. Everywhere I turn I see that Her2 is addressed first or with anti-estrogen targeted therapy. I’m concerned I have a rogue doctor. I’m just getting anti-estrogen- Verzenio and Fulvestrant
