Thickened lining and bleeding can be early signs of endometrial cancer, especially if you have already gone through menopause. I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer about 2.5 years after my initial breast cancer diagnosis. When it happened I wasn't menopausal yet. I always had long periods and some spotting and once or twice a year I would get a mega period that lasted a couple of weeks. This went on most of my life. Then I went through a 6 month time span with a period that would go for 2-3 weeks at a time, stop for a week or so, then it would be back again. I didn't think too much of it for about 6 months until one night the bleeding got real heavy and I was soaking through the maxi pads way too fast. I went to the ER and after an ultrasound and a CT scan I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer and told to get a biopsy for verification. A few weeks later I had a hystertomy where they took uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and cervix. Did your doctor suggest doing any other sort of test to see what's going on? Like a biopsy or D&C to check for cancer cells? Or by another type of scan such as a PET scan or MRI? If your doctor isn't doing anything you should ask them to investigate further and figure out what exactly is going on. Good luck, I hope it's nothing serious. 🤞🙏❤️
Hi, Teton. Did you have a hysterectomy? My ob says she will remove it even if biopsy is negative. I just don't want to go through cancer again so I'm going to do it.

Your obgyn is right although it is a heavy procedure I’ve heard. No. I didn’t have the bleeding you’re talking about . I just know what it is.
It’s not about reoccurrence, but about endometrial or uterine cancer. These are separate cancer and can be caused by the hormone blockers.
