I have been on Anastrolzole 2.5 years. I would say I have mild side effects that come and go. Stiff joints, but arthritis runs in my family so that is a factor as well. I rarely take any meds for the joint issue, so that tells you it is not too bad. I am a month shy of 63. I exercise and stay busy. Here and there a mild hot flash. Once in a while a few nights of not sleeping well, but most nights I get 8-9 hours of good rest. I, too, believe in a positive attitude. I just started doing decoupage as a hobby and I have become addicted. LOL. I am a retired teacher and I try to substitute a few times a month and being around young bubbly kids (elementary) helps keep me positive also.

Thank you for the positivity! I just took my first dose this evening and new medications scare me anyway! My oncologist was pretty promising that I would do well on it (but my anxiety is trying to tell me otherwise!) I know I just had to “rip off the bandage” and do it! I definitely said my prayers & thank god everyday for positive people like you and all my support!

Hello LC5. I have been on Anastrozole for 2 years now. I have no side effects. I have fatigue lately but not all the time. At first I wasn't sure about taking an AI. It's been okay for me so far. I eat healthy, do morning walking and in the evening also. Drink plenty of water. I also get at least 8 hours of sleep or more to help with fatigue. Prayers and meditation helps me too. I truly believe in keeping a positive attitude. Thanking God everyday for the blessings.🌺🌺🙏✝️🙏
