Vitamin D is crucial for bone health and immune system function. For breast cancer patients, research suggests that higher blood levels of vitamin D may be associated with better survival outcomes. However, the relationship between vitamin D levels and breast cancer outcomes is complex and not definitively proven to be cause-and-effect. Before starting any vitamin D supplementation, it's essential to have your levels tested through a simple blood test by your healthcare provider. They can determine if supplements are necessary and prescribe the appropriate dosage. This is particularly important because excessive vitamin D intake can cause adverse effects including nausea, muscle weakness, confusion, and kidney stones.

Either K2 or K7 work well.
Most likely, if it doesn’t say, it is K2.

Yes. You need to take vitamin K with vitamin D.

Taia, the K2 is what deposits the calcium into the bones. It definitely needs to be taken with the D3.

@A MyBCTeam Member as you know my vitamin D level was 16 in Feb 2024, then 33 Oct 2024 and then 27 June 2025 . 7 months on 5000 D3 and it decreased. May have something to do with bone mets but I also realized I was taking the wrong K2 SO I am now taking 6000 D3 with K2 .

I am also 50 lbs too much so maybe my weight did have something to do with decreased levels
