Sally I never heard of bee venom as a treatment, its probably more of a thing with those who believe alternative treatments. Anything listed as an alternative treatment really hasn't had a lot of studies so it always say ' might be helpful for this or not but it hasn't been proven'. Risks are always involved. I would be cautious and make sure bee venom shots are done in a doctors office and not at home where you can't be monitored.

Actually, there have been some studies with bee venom in conjunction with chemotherapy. I will link an article- what I wish the info included would be a comparison of results with chemo alone, to chemo with bee venom. I don't know of any clinical studies with just the bee venom and the results compared to traditional chemotherapies.
