I had a patient that did it. I cannot remember the name of the book, but said it worked really well for her. I think she stopped eating the afternoon before treatment, and resumed the morning after. The drank a lot of fluids.
Wishing you well.

While the search results don't directly address intermittent fasting with chemotherapy, they do emphasize the importance of maintaining good nutrition during treatment. The key focus during chemotherapy should be on sustaining energy levels, maintaining body weight, and supporting recovery from treatments.

Medical professionals typically recommend eating frequent, small meals throughout the day during chemotherapy. It's important to eat when you have the biggest appetite and consume foods that appeal to you, even if you find yourself eating the same things repeatedly. Staying well-hydrated and nourished is crucial during chemotherapy. Many patients experience changes in appetite, taste changes, and nausea during treatment. Before making any significant changes to your eating patterns like intermittent fasting, you should discuss this with your oncology team, as they can provide guidance based on your specific treatment plan and nutritional needs.
