My radiation oncologist recommended Miaderm- availabile on line from manufacturer or through Amazon-did not find in pharmacies. worked beautifully- just one small area peeled and itched. Also comes with Lidocaine- dealt with the itching nicely. Easy to apply and easy wash off.
I’m still in chemotherapy and will follow with radiation afterwards. During my initial meeting with my Radiation Oncologist, he told me what they had seen to work the best was Aquaphor. He recommended to started using it before therapy begins, during and after. Even though it will be May or June before I start radiation, I’ve already started using it and it has made a huge difference already with my dry, itchy diabetic skin.
