The hubs says I should spend some time with language apps and refresh my memory- lol! No one here to practice with- so, I don't think so. The only one I am sorry about not learning was German, our generation (brothers and cousins) are the first since prior to the Revolutionary War not to be fluent in German. But my dad and his siblings, left the area for better work opportunities, and married people who did not speak any German- so it has been lost. I still have my Grandfather's Bible, all written in German, I will have to check the date on it, as it was his family's Bible.
Language of diplomats and living in Maryland explains some things. I took French in high school because the African country I lived in was a former French colonial country. I'm about with you. Can sort of read it but that's it.
