I am sorry to hear this!
Kisquali is known to interact with more drugs than Ibrance- ask your oncologist to double check that angle as well, it seems counterproductive to switch when you are already getting good results with Ibrance. Keeping you in prayers that this can be resolved in your favor! Hugs!
Hello,
Yes, agree with Nancy145 that discussing a Prior Authorization (PA) with your Dr. and giving a call to the Insurance company and talking with them would be helpful to understand the options. You also have an "Appeal" process via insurance to seek coverage if a denial is issued.
Are you working with a Nurse Navigator? Does your Insurance group offer a Nurse Navigator? If so, this person or a Clinic/Hospital Social Worker may be helpful in the process of seeking clarification as well.
Just some ideas to help you seek out more information for clarification.
I hate insurance companies!
Have you asked your doctor to complete a prior authorization for the instance?
Probably Big Pharma in cahoots with the insurance company. I think this shouldn't be the end and the doctor can intervene.
