I am having revision surgery in May for aesthetic flat closure at Mayo. Seems like the healthiest choice for me, No further surgeries or upkeep of implants. Go to https://notputtingonashirt.org for great information.

I opted to stay flat. Reconstruction always presents some added risk. Implants are safe but can also cause cancer problems later on in a small % of people. It seemed like implants require a lot of upkeep, too. I think it's just one more thing to worry about.
