What is a normal oncotype score?
A score of 0–25 means you're unlikely to benefit from having chemotherapy in addition to hormone therapy. A score of 26 or above means you're likely to benefit from having chemotherapy in addition to hormone therapy.
After receiving your Oncotype DX score, which is considered "intermediate" at 23, your oncologist will recommend a treatment plan based on your specific circumstances. This plan might include:
- Surgery
- Chemotherapy
- Hormone Therapy
- Targeted Therapy
