Hi Monica, my cocktail was TCH, then Herceptin (trastuzumab). The difference was night and day! I was still tired at first, but it takes a while to work all those chemo drugs out your system. After that, I almost felt guilty-almost- lol! about taking the whole day off from work for the infusion. I was generally in and out in less than an hour! The longest time was two hours, and that was because they were short=handed in the pharmacy that mixes up the drugs. No more labs to check whether or not you can proceed, as the Herceptin works totally different than the taxol or platin drugs. It wasn't long before the runny eyes cleared up, the bloody nose was gone, energy and stamina was increasing- and then a few months after chemo- the velveteen fuzz showed up on my head. Good days are coming!!
