New protocol:
chemo every 3 weeks, carboplatin cancelled , masectomy. Radiation not recommended. Scans in 3 and 6 months. Tamoxifen for antiendicrine. Ovary removal for prophylaxis brca2+, later if needed.
Hi Ida! I was diagnosed with triple+ IDC in February. They caught mine very early. I opted for a DMX with reconstruction, which I had in April. I will have my ovaries and tubes removed in July. I was on tamoxifen for 4 years for an earlier scare with breast cancer, went off it in November because of side effects. Prayers for you as you fight this battle.
