Wondering this myself....I am going to have bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. I'm really nervous for this surgery. Am I alone??

I here you. On the 31st having my mastectomy expanders placed with lymph nodes removed. Doctor told me she will put saline in mine yes in three months they will take expanders out put permanent implants

I had double mastectomy and expanders placed on 2/17. My doctor has been filling the expanders with air. This week he will pull out the air and replace with saline. My exchange will be within three months. I can not wait to be rid of these dang expanders.

I had a double mastectomy in Feb with reconstructive spacers. I’m healed enough that my doctor will start injecting them which should take about 6-12 weeks, then a surgery to put in breast implants.

You ain't alone I feel you. For me they will take my lymph nodes out put the flap also. I am like to myself Katerina you are strong got it
