Was told the store brand Rogaine is same thing by hair specialist. I had some thinning after starting tamoxifen and has really helped. She said use men's but not for younger women , think messes with hormonesor something. Got 3 months from cvs for about $20. I don't remember to use every day but has quit falling out by the handfuls every time I wash it.

Trodelvy is working for me, but I lost all my hair - everywhere

@A MyBCTeam Member - I'm so glad to hear Trodelvy is working for you. That is great news! Sorry to hear you've lost all of your hair, everywhere...that is very difficult. I'm having my 2nd treatment tomorrow, still doing cold cap therapy. So far I still have my hair but I'm not being treated with the full dose or the recommended dosing schedule. Doctor is probably going to up the dose when I go in for treatment tomorrow. Side effects so far: nausea (manageable); face flushing, eyes very sensitive to light, digestive challenges...nothing too bad.

Yes, Trodelvy was just given FDA Advanced Approval in April. It is made specifically for TNBC. I’m not happy it is recommended I go this route but I need to be treated with something so am willing to give it a try.
I haven’t received any responses from women that have may have tried Trodelvy, maybe it’s too new?
It would really make such a difference if I didn’t lose my hair. Some people assume it’s about vanity; for me, it isn’t about that at all. It’s about being able to have the mental strength to endure & not have to cope with another thing that takes away & cuts into a person’s spirit. It would be very helpful if it worked.

I need to research this...a new drug for TNBC? Wonderful! Praying that your hair stays in tact! It seens to work for other chemos so hopefully it will work! AC stinks! Totally understand not wanting to lose hair again! Best of luck!
