Do you carry on with physio exercises advised after surgery?

A MyBCTeam Member said:

@A MyBCTeam Member: sure - until/unless it gets too sore. I was going to physio until I started getting really crispy - then I didn't want anyone touching me. I still did very gentle stretches at home until I was healed and could get back to normal exercises. Listen to your body - you'll know the right thing to do πŸ’–

I continued to stretched and lightly massage the area. I had a lumpectomy and started radiation therapy a month after the surgery. I had 35 treatments in all and around the 25th treatment my Dr. told me to only stretch no more massages. Before the social distancing order I would go to a bodypump class once a week at the YMCA. It helped keep my energy up. What type of exercise are you doing?
