I was diagnosed in January with breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy in February. There were 2 very small tumors, ER+ PR + Her 2 + ((her 2+ in only 1) . No lymph node involvement and clear margins. I attempted Taxol but had an anaphylactic shock to it. I did 3 round of herceptin and 4 weeks of daily radiation. When should I have my next mammogram? mine was 1 year after radiation
My surgeon scheduled my mamo with ultra sound 6 months after surgery follow up, about 8 months after surgery.
Those of you who had MRI’s instead of mammograms because mammograms didn’t show any tumors, did they use a 3 D mammogram machine?
Mine was done again 3 months after I stopped radiation. I can't get a MIR. I have an implanted device that keeps me from getting one.
I seem to be just the opposite. I’m 5 yrs cancer free and the radiologist who screens my mri’s and mamos said no more mri’s and mamograms back to yearly.
