Sorry for two posts- hit send too soon. For background, when I had unilateral mastectomy the PS was able to go direct to implant and avoid expanders which was great. It was all good but the breast/implant sit for "flat" then it should so I still need to use prothesis to match right breast. She has recommended replacing the implant with one that is more "forward projected" and doing the right breast lift between chemo and radiation. She said that this is not an option after radiation as the skin will be too stiff and inflexible etc. I currently have a very mild amount of lymphedema in my upper back and axilla but not into my arm yet. I had my axilla cleared of lymph nodes and 8/10 were positive.

My concern is whether to "tempt fate" and do this implant swap or will it create more problems and then I will regret it.

Anyone have the same situation and outcome of this?????
