After my first chemo I got a UTI. It was a mess because carboplatin kicked my butt, went to the emergency room, uti, then home nursing where they gave me IV Rocephin for the uti, anaphylaxis, 911, back to emergency room.

Weeeeeeeeeee! Onc removed carboplatin from my treatments going forward. 🙂

Yes , every chemo . It is really getting annoying . 4 chemos in and uti followed by yeast infection after I take the antibiotics for 5 days .

Yes always drink lots of water.

I am on anastrazole noticed urine change and getting irritated maybe it is the medication,Isre we suppose to drink slot of water est certain way,not told slot

After my last AC chemo got a bladder infection. Took cipro as when i take macrobid the uti comes back in a couple weeks. Has anyone tsken D-mammose to prevent utis? Starting taxol and herceptin now.
