I finished chemo four months ago and have been on anastrozole for two months. I've been having mild nausea for a few hours, maybe four times a week. My oncologist has suggested I stop taking the drug for one month and see if that stops the nausea. It's been two weeks now and I've only had the nausea once. Has anyone else had nausea from this drug. That side effect doesn't seem to be common. Any ideas? Thanks to all of you!
I take mine ar 7:00 at night after I’ve had a bite to eat. My oncologist said to take it separate from the other meds and vitamins I take. Except for an occasional hot flash, I haven’t had any side effects. I hope it gets better for you.
I take it right before I go to bed - I think it helps me get off to sleep, actually.
Did you try switching time of day you take it? Do you take it with food? I take my AI in the am with breakfast.
I’m on it to. Been taking since July. Doesn’t bother me a bit. I take it at 4 everyday and by then my stomach has a bit on it and getting ready for dinner at 5 ish
