Starting week 5 on taxol. When did you start to loose you hair or did you?
@A MyBCTeam Member my AC was 4 rounds every 2 weeks. @A MyBCTeam Member not everyone gets AC and it’s not unusual to just have Taxol. AC is a more agressive chemo and is nicknamed the red devil. You usually start with AC if you were to have it then move to Taxol.
A/C A=Adriamycin and C=Cytoxan Strong chemo given in 4 doses, 3 weeks apart over twelve weeks.
I was talking with the nurses at the hospital when I was getting my routine bloods done. I told them I have persistent diarrhea. They said it was the Taxol. I am trying to manage it with Immodium. Maybe have some in the house at the ready.
I started with taxol. I did not have a lot of side effects.
@A MyBCTeam Member you are the first person I’ve heard of that had AC last. That’s interesting. It took a while for my skin to not be sensitive. It does get better.
