I finished 4 rounds of A/C and 8 of Taxol. I didn't have chemo this week because all my blood counts were low and I'm having terrible neuropathy in my toes/feet and fingers/hands. I started out with terrible joint/muscle pain a few days after Taxol which would last for 3-4 days; it's not too bad now but the neuropathy is bad. I don't want to have permanent neuropathy after this is over. I've had my nose bleeding for 3-4 wks. now, and my eyes water continuously and are blurry. Praying you don't have bad side effects.

I worked full time. Side effects? Hair loss. I didn't have issues with discomfort, nausea, lost of taste., etc. Sometimes I was a little tired after treatment, but I think that was due to Benadryl they were giving withbTaxol. I asked them to stop it. Some days I went to work after an infusion. Each person is different, though.

I did 12 weeks of Taxol and then AC.
I didn’t have any side effects , other than fatigue, and loose stools on day 4 and 5 ( just first thing in the morning and easily remedied with Imodium- not ongoing, just had to be close to a bathroom after I had coffee and breakfast. ).

Good luck! Did they have a remedy for your rash on AC? I had Benadryl as a premed prior to my Taxol infusions I think.

Congratulations on finishing AC! On Taxol I experienced some neuropathy in my feet but it did go away. I did pretty well on It until treatment #9. Then I broke out with an itchy rash and had to switch to Taxotere to finish. Did not like Taxotere!
