i have been on tamoxifen for just over 2 years now with barely any side effects. Recently though i have had mood swings and feel tired all the time with little or no energy. I walk to work every day and exercise when i have the energy but that does not seem to help. Has anyone else experienced this? I was wondering if it was the menopause starting to kick in (i am 51) but my onc says i am still in peri-menopause. So sorry you are experiencing tiredness and mood swings. The big question is - what causes this? While we might like to think it’s the Tamoxofin, the thing is, it may or may not be. Perimenopause can possibly cause some of those side effects too - and maybe talking about things at your last check up kicked in some stress and anxiety? Big breath... Did you have blood tests in February? All is ok? Have you been eating well? Taking any supplements? I guess you could put in a call to your primary doc to let them know what is going on. Be gentle with yourself. Hope you find some answers.
